What are discipleship classes?

At First Baptist, we offer “discipleship classes” every fall and spring semester. These courses are different than our regular Sunday morning Bible Fellowship Groups (BFGs). Discipleship classes are short-term, focused studies that happen throughout the week and are designed to cover a particular area of Christian discipleship or even a particular book of the Bible. Whether you consider yourself new to Christ, still learning, or mature in your faith, there is a class for you. Take this opportunity to go deeper still with Christ.

 The Winter 2013 Semester starts the week of January 6, 2013. Stretch yourself as a believer by participating in one of these classes. This opportunity is presented to you to grow spiritually...but it is up to YOU to take the steps to register and attend.

 HOW TO SELECT A CLASS:

• Review the classes offered.
• Ask God to show you where you need to be.
• Check the dates and times (some classes are offered at different times).
• Register your selection.

• Go to the “Discipleship Tables” in the Atrium.
• Pick up a bookmark for the class you have selected.
• Provide the information requested.
• Tear off and place registration in the “glass bowl”.
• Keep the remaining part as your reminder.
