Whispering Hope March on Mission Opportunity

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we’ve had to adjust our plans for the baby shower, but we’re still excited to shower the young moms at Living Hope (Whispering Hope) with gifts.

Dawn Mehler will be outside the Hub between services (10:30 AM - 11:00 AM) on Sunday, March 23 collecting gift cards to local shops and restaurants. These gift cards will provide the residents with the opportunity to enjoy some fun and relief as they work towards their life goals.

Please consider attaching a handwritten note of encouragement and love, addressed to "Living Hope Family," to your gift card. Your words of blessing will make all the difference!

Here are a few of their favorite places, though they’re always open to trying new spots too:

  • Zaxby’s

  • Guthrie’s

  • Chick-fil-A

  • Outback

  • Taco Mac

  • Mexican (any)

  • Rice

  • Jersey Mike’s

  • Larry’s Subs

  • Amazon

  • Target

  • Walmart

Let’s come together to bless these amazing young moms with something special!

Join us this Sunday, February 16 at the 9:30 AM & 11 AM worship services to hear from Daniel Ritchie!

"I was born without arms. But God is glorified in my difference and has given me a thriving life. God has given me the opportunity and call to speak to more than 200,000 people every year – sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ as well as what I have learned being born visibly different. God has shaped my perspective to pursue a full life because I am defined by Him, and His grace rather than seeing myself as the sum of two empty sleeves or finding my value in the eyes of the critical opinions of the world. It is my joy to encourage others, and provide them with the hope of Christ."

Year-End Giving at FBC

Dear FBC Family and Friends,
Your faithful giving allows FBC to teach our children the Bible, prepare our students with a Biblical worldview, and resource our members to go on mission across the street, the state and the seas. Every week we hear the good news that our church is sharing the best news ever to people who need Jesus.

Will you help us finish 2024 on a strong financial note? We are thankful to be part of a church that provides generous resources for spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

As we enter the Christmas season, we want to remind you of ways you can make your year-end gifts other than the church offering boxes:

  • Online giving is fast and easy using the link on our website, or through the Church Center phone app.

  • Mail your year-end gift to the church office, 1597 Sawnee Dr., Cumming, GA 30040, postmarked by December 31.

  • Drop off your year-end gift at the church office.

  • If you need to drop off a gift after office hours, please use the locked mailbox located to the left of the large office mailbox on the front side of the office building.

If you have any questions concerning year-end giving, please call Judy Ware or Greg Deeter at the church office at 770-887-2428. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
